Devonshire is a custom residence designed by Battersby Howat Architects in Vancouver, BC. The home is architecturally forward in its design — calling for mechanical systems that integrate cleanly and support the architecture rather than compete with it.
INFORM provided complete mechanical design for the project, modelled entirely in BIM. Scope includes HVAC, air-to-air heat pumps, a boiler system for radiant floor heating, independent ventilation, range hood, makeup air, plumbing, and rainwater leaders — all coordinated in the model before construction begins.
Designing everything in BIM means conflicts get resolved on screen, not on site. Trades receive documentation they can work from with confidence, and the architect's design stays intact through construction.
